Flavorful & colorful - a fresh tico dish from a favorite little restaurant near the camp.

Leaving San Jose to be near the camp was a difficult move since we knew noone and felt isolated, but this sweet pastor's wife and new friend opened her arms to our family. This day she wanted to learn to bake banana bread.
4 months later Jesus called her home. The grief our family faced - and our new pastor's family - rocked us. Our faith in God's ultimate goodness did not waver though. I am thankful she is free from pain and that the Lord allowed us to know her.

Campamento Rio Naranjo - the place we know God will use to change lives for His glory. It is an honor to be invited to serve here and we are excited for all the Lord will do!

Aaron and our camp property manager, Edgar, are hard at work at their weekly meeting. (September)

We completed our time at the Spanish Language Institute! Is our Spanish perfect? Ha! Hardly. But we have learned a ton and have a solid foundation to build on. And we had a great group of other students to lean on and share the ups & downs of new missionary life. (April)

Welcomed our 5th child - new baby girl, Mercy Ann (March)
